Tim Bradshaw

Acting Head of School

Tim Bradshaw is a multi instrumentalist, teacher and songwriter who trained at the Royal College of Music in Orchestration and has taught Live Performance, Music Production and Songwriting at BIMM Manchester since 2016.

He has performed in many roles as a professional musician, from orchestras, to rock and pop, in venues around the world both big and small. From Madison Square Garden, The Hollywood Bowl, and Red Rocks, to Wembley Arena, Earls Court, and Glastonbury’s legendary pyramid stage.

He has remained in the backing band of David Gray with whom he has played off and on since 1996. Other notable artists with which he has played are John Mayer, with whom he toured the Continuum album.  He played on the Grammy winning song “Belief” from the ‘Where The Light Is’ DVD, and guested with Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy. He played on the Brit and Grammy nominated album “White Ladder” by David Gray. He has also played with MIA, The Afro Celt Sound System, Dog’s Eye View, Eddi Reader, Ronan Keating, Boyzone and many others.
